“Old Shaky” was an offshore RADAR tower operated by the US Air Force from 1958 to 1961. It was located about 77 statute miles east of Barnegat Light, New Jersey, USA.
The tower collapsed on 15 January 1961. 28 airmen were lost in the catastrophe.
